Right down to the finest movement of a whisker, your cat is telling you something. It makes life much easier for both of you when you know how to interpret the signals they are giving you.
It is easy to interpret ears flat to the head - the cat is mad and ready for a fight. Some are more subtle. Here is a cute illustration I found at thedrugattic.blogspot.com
This is one our our family cats when he was a baby. His ears where huge! What do you think these ears are saying?
