My cat doesn't like Activia

Nanny knows that cats should not be given dairy products. Despite that, my cats are given just a tablespoon (between the two) of cream every morning. I can't resist the little show they put on when I'm pouring my coffee.    They both like yogurt too - except the older one doesn't like Activia. Funny, huh? When I'm finished eating a yogurt cup, I let them lick the container. They will come running from anywhere in the house when they hear me remove the lid.

So what is the real scoop on cats and dairy? Here is an excerpt from Pets People Place. Click on the link for the full article.
If your cat has been fed small amounts of dairy products and not only seems to enjoy it but suffered from no ill effects, then feeding small amounts of dairy products such as cream several times a week will do no harm. However, if your cat has never tasted dairy and since milk is not necessary if your cat is being fed a balanced diet, it is advisable to simply omit this from their diet.
I am relieved that I'm not killing them with kindness.

Do you indulge your pet with some guilty pleasure?

Much Love,
